In this interesting role you will provide administrative support within the Forensic Investigation Unit (FIU) ensuring the integrity and continuity of forensic / biometric evidence and presenting a professional interface between FIU and its customers in support of the organisational requirement to secure detections and convictions. 

We are seeking to attract and recruit experienced CSIs at Tier 2 level, in particular those CSIs that have already completed a recognised CSI Stage 2 course (or equivalent) and are currently competent to examine the most serious and challenging crime scenes.

As part of this exciting transformation, we are seeking to recruit a number of Fingerprint Identification Officers within our Fingerprint Bureau. 

The overall purpose of the role is to maintain efficient administrative support within the Forensic Submissions Team by providing daily supervision and line management to two small teams of Forensic Administrators and to assist the Forensic Marketplace & Submissions Manager in managing the unit’s workload.
