Forensic Imaging Specialist

GMP has an exciting opportunity for Enhanced Crime Scene Investigators to become part of our Forensic Services Team. Successful applicants will be based in a Crime Scene Investigation Unit on one of our 10 districts

In this role you will provide a service to the Force and external agencies, both within the laboratory and at scenes of crime, by employing a wide range of specialist forensic techniques in order to recover and record forensic evidence

In this role you will assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Forensic Science Regulators accreditation and code of practice requirements across Forensic Services. 

The Forensic Services Evaluator is based within the Procedural Standards Unit and will monitor, analyse and report on the effectiveness of forensic examinations throughout the investigative process

The Senior Forensic Exhibits Officer (SFEO) is a critical role for the day to day running and deployment of the Forensic Management Team (FMT).

In this role you will conduct intelligence led digital forensic investigations on a wide range of digital devices, providing evidence and expert interpretation of the evidence
