The successful candidate will require a PTTLS / Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent

This is an exciting role where you will provide full administrative support within the SEROCU Cyber/ Forensic capabilities.  

You will provide technical advice and assistance to officers and staff engaged in the investigation of crime and attend crime scenes to provide digital forensic advice where required.

You will be responsible for day to day management of the Digital Forensic Unit managing a team of specialists in the investigation of Digital Forensics

You will provide research support to the Forensic Investigation Unit (FIU), including the preparation and interpretation of management and other statistical information for internal and external use.

An exciting opportunity for a skilled Digital Forensic Investigator has opened within the Counter Terrorism Policing South East’s Digital Investigations team. 

You will provide efficient and effective crime scene surveys, and plan drawing service to meet the investigative requirements of all four Forces within the Yorkshire and Humber region.

You will lead the Forensic Information Databases Service (FINDS). This team operates and administers the national forensic database systems that identify links between forensic evidence recovered from scenes of crime and arrestees (and on occasion other individuals including vulnerable persons and missing persons). 

The role is a senior management role that has accountability for the delivery of all forensic crime scene services across the three force collaboration.
