Digital forensic apprentices visit Parliament
11th February 2025
Applications have opened for experienced digital forensic practitioners interested in advancing their skills and career through a Level 7 advanced apprenticeship.
As opposed to the Level 4 DF apprenticeship which is for people new to DF, this apprenticeship is an integrated degree-level qualification specifically for those already working in digital forensics. It takes 24 months to complete.
This will be the second cohort of Level 7 apprentices, as the first cohort began in March 2025.
Cranfield University is the apprenticeship provider. Expressions of interest should be submitted to them by the 21st July 2025, with full applications submitted by 28th July 2025.
The second cohort starts in October 2025.
For more information visit Cranfield University's Advanced Digital Forensic Professional Apprenticeship page or email apprenticeships@cranfield.ac.uk with any questions.
For police forces interested in recruiting Level 4 Digital Forensic Technician apprentices to their organisation, registered learning providers are currently interested in offering a September delivery. If you would like to know more about delivery options please contact FCN's Jo Morrissey on joanne.morrissey@dorset.pnn.police.uk.
