Digital Forensic Technician
You will be part of the Digital Forensics Unit, providing administrative and technical support to the rest of the team.

You will support the investigation of serious crime and report to a Senior Digital Forensic Investigator, you will be involved in all types of investigation.
As a Forensic Reporting Scientist, you will have extensive experience of reporting complex cases, including sexual offences, involving the examination of body fluid evidence and the interpretation of DNA results.
This is a multi-functional and physical role where you will be liaising with our wide range of customers; and be involved in receiving and returning a broad range of forensic samples including those from serious crime scenes and mass disasters.
This is an opportunity to make sure that the ground-breaking system being built to improve VAWG investigations will be fit-for-purpose. You will do this by providing a voice for those directly affected by crime and those who are instrumental in bringing the offenders to justice.
We seek to form a Stakeholder Panel from those with a deep understanding of the needs of: victims, police force staff, service providers and others working with forensics.
