You will be working under the direction of the Technical Manager, and Senior Technical Officers, completing relevant tasks relating to accreditation in ISO17025, ISO17020 and Forensic Science Regulator Code of Practice, ensuring all equipment and staff are compliant with the unit and accreditation
We see this as an ideal role for those who wish to be a technician, or as a first position for someone who has no previous experience of working in digital forensics but would like to start a career in this area.

The main responsibility of a Senior Digital Forensic Investigator is to be a team leader and first line manager of up to 12 members of staff within the Digital Forensic Unit.
You will support the investigation of serious crime and report to a Senior Digital Forensic Investigator, you will be involved in all types of investigation.
You will be part of the Digital Forensics Unit, providing administrative and technical support to the rest of the team.
