FCN has worked closely with the Police National Vetting Service (PNVS) to discuss the importance of having forensic service providers' staff vetted as soon as possible.

The forensic marketplace is fragile and forensic services are critical to policing.

The relationship with the PNVS has facilitated more capacity within the physical and digital forensic service providers and supports police forces to reduce their national digital forensic backlog of more than 21,000 digital devices.
