Research and Development

"Innovation is the ability to see change as an opportunity, not a threat"

Steve Jobs

Research and Innovation is critical to driving continuous improvement and is not only influenced by advances in Science and Technology but also the requirements of the Criminal Justice System. The FCN seeks to foster a knowledge sharing and research network to improve cross-border collaboration between academia, policing partnerships and related stakeholders. The aim is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of policing, forensic science, technology and associated methods and techniques through collaborative Information sharing, broadening access to knowledge and partnerships across the criminal justice system.
